Sneak Peek Part II

Like I mentioned in the previous post, I recently had a DOUBLE maternity session with some friends that were due around the same time. How lucky could I be to get 2 stunning models for the day! As you can see from this sneak peak, she was very easy to work with, and there really wasn't much for me to do...she was just beautiful!

Thanks for sharing some time with me! I had fun with you and Miss G! Enjoy :-)

It's a Sneak Peek...

I had a wonderful DOUBLE maternity session the other day with some very beautiful friends that are due really close together. I know first hand how fun it can be to be PG with a friend. It is such a fun time and it only gets better when the little ones arrive!

Well, I wanted to get you out a sneak peak at this session. I am having such a good time proofing it, I just had to share! I will probably post this session again when it's all done, but here are some tidbits for now....I hope you like them!

THEY'RE HERE! IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!!

I am soooo excited to announce Been Blessed Christmas card line up is ready! There are 12 designs in all separated into 2 collections: the Cozy Christmas Collection and the Classy Christmas Collection. Both collections print at a 5x7 size ensuring that the image you choose for the card is going to stand out! If you desire an even more personal touch, you can change the wording to match your style at no extra charge! They are sold in bundles of 20 for $45.

The Cozy Collection is just that...cozy! It is your traditional Christmas look using the traditional colors of red and green in each design. These are little more fun and casual than your normal Christmas card, and to make them even better they are completely you when you add your favorite Been Blessed image to them!

The Classy Collection is pure class using only red, black and white. Clean and simple or elegant and pretty, either way you can't lose with this collection. Each and every one will be a stand out! Adding your own lovely image from your Been Blessed session, just puts the icing on the cake.

I hope everyone enjoys these cards as much as I did designing them! I think I could have gone on and on forever with creating these, but had to remind myself..."there will be other Christmases" I also have to thank two great families for allowing me to use their photos as sample photos for these cards! THANK YOU!!! You guys are awesome! (don't you just love all the aliases I used for you) **wink**

Are you ready for Christmas yet?!

It's a Classy Christmas!

This is the Classy Christmas Collection. These 6 designs are all black, white, and red. Some are fancy, some are clean and simple, but they are all Classy! These cards are all printed as 5x7's, you can choose your favorite image from a Been Blessed session, and if you would like you can also customize the wording to make it truly yours!

What's a Gallery Wrapped Canvas??

So I thought I would create this entry specifically to answer this question. I just so happen to have gotten my 2nd one today! I LOVE these and wished that it wouldn't look weird or completely vain to plaster these all over my home! A gallery wrapped canvas is your favorite Been Blessed image transferred to a canvas (16x20 in this case). The image is actually bigger than the frame so that's where the wrapped part comes into play. They take the image and wrap it around 1 1/2 inch stretchers so the image actually flows off the front of the portrait. This type of portrait needs no glass or frame and can either lean against a wall on a mantle or shelf, use an easel, or hang like a traditional framed portrait would. I just adore the way they look and highly recommend them for your favorite portraits. Here are some pictures of what mine looks like....(please no grading on the product photography...obviously not my forte).

Oh, and Thank you Angela for the beautiful family portraits!
I hope that answers any questions about what a Gallery Wrapped Canvas is!

A session with Missy Moo

So the other night after dinner, I decided to take out my absolute most favorite 4 1/2 year old. It was just her and I...we left the boys at home. She picked out her favorite dress from this summer and insisted on wearing her hair down and her bangs "swooped"...yes it really does start this early for girls...My girl is no different! I just can't help but love to photograph her...she is just too beautiful to me.

I have also been really wanting a picture of this pretty Weeping Willow (my favorite tree) that is in our neighborhood. I pass by it very often and have noticed this year that it is especially full and just plain gorgeous...maybe all the moisture this year? So I took her there and tried to re-create an image that has been playing around in my head all summer. Moo had quite a different idea, so unfortunately it wasn't quite accomplished, but I still got some cute shots. I LOVE the way the wind was blowing her hair, and tried to capture it each time it happened. I also was fascinated with the way the golden sun was lighting up her hair when she stood in front of it. So these are some favorites from my evening out with the Moo...
You can't wear a dress and not twirl around! ;)
....a little wind (can't decide color or B&W), and a little sun.

Yay!!! A Maternity Session!

I had the absolute privilege to photograph this lovely lady and her gorgeous daughter. This pregnancy is a true gift from God, and she just wanted to have some keepsakes to remember this moment (the absolute essence of why I created Been Blessed! LOVE IT!). She was absolutely glowing, and we had a great time. I just love maternity sessions (they are my fav!), and to have her little girl join us made it even more fun....she was more interested in the camera then having her picture taken. I think she was just taking notes...future photographer?...maybe! This is a session where I LOVED the black and whites more than the color....it does happen...rarely! They are just so moody to me and really capture the moment not only in an image, but I feel the mood as well. Thanks so much guys for such a fun session! Enjoy...

Another Great Family!

Even though I specialize in newborn and maternity photography, I still love to do family sessions as well. I love to see how everyone interacts with one another and the relationships between people. Here's another family I had the pleasure of photographing the Fincham's (they are a family near and dear to my heart). I had a great time in a NEW location that I really liked! These were my favs!

Day One

To Blog or not to Blog.... you know how the rest goes. So I am going to be a blogger. I hope this will be a great way to keep all my clients, friends, and family up to date as to the goings on here at Been Blessed. Hopefully, it will be easy enough for me so I don't have to bug my hubby to help me each time I need to do an update...that's the theory behind it anyway.
