Happy Birthdays!

Here are a brother and sister who have gotten a year older. These two did a studio and an outdoor session, and got some very nice portraits from both. I loved watching these two have fun together. They really are best friends! They both also know how to work the camera. I loved that both of them knew exactly how they wanted their birthday pictures to look. Happy Birthday to both of you! I hope you like your sneak peek!

Happy First Birthday!

This past weekend, I was lucky enough to meet a sweet one year old girl and her family for a session. The session was mostly about her, but we did get some of sister and a few candid family shots. The girls did well considering some set-backs. First, the wind was crazy wild, next the sun was a bit on the bright side, and then there was the part about having to fight for prime spots at a favorite park. Despite all of the craziness, we still got some fun shots that captured the day, and this moment in time for this family. Happy Birthday Miss A. I hope you have a great year! Enjoy your sneak peek :)

More Senior Fun

I had another opportunity to dabble my toes in the senior scene this past weekend. I have to say, I LOVE senior sessions. They are so fun. Seniors are willing to do just about anything I want to try, and the sessions really refuel my creative juices. Don't be surprised if you see a senior section coming soon to Been Blessed. Of course, I would have to come up with a way cooler and "hip" name than Been Blessed Senior...so it's in the works...

In the meantime, I'll tide you over with another senior guy. I had a great session with him, despite the beginning of the session starting off with rain. Like I said, he was willing to try just about anything, and was so laid back. I left feeling like I didn't even work.

I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Some Senior Fun

Even though my specialties are maternity and newborn photography, I love to stir things up with sessions for older kids, families, and High School Seniors. Since school is just about ready to start back up again, I have had the wonderful opportunity to break out of my box and have fun with some Seniors.

This Senior guy was fun to work with. He pretty much did whatever I wanted to and had no hesitation to do things that may have felt weird. I know guys aren't really as into getting their pictures taken as the ladies are, but he was nice and relaxed and willing to do whatever. Since he's a football star, we were able to get him a few portraits that captured those memories for him.

Thanks for a great session, and good luck with your Senior year!

I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek!

Time Flies

Do you remember these sweeties? Well, they're six months older now, and even sweeter. Have mercy. These girls are so smiley and cute. And if that wasn't enough, check out those darling tutu's mom brought with her! We needed lots of hands to help out with this session, but we weren't lacking. I think everyone wanted in on this action. I can't wait to see them again in three months. I just love watching them grow.

Lovely Maternity

I sure have been blessed with some beautiful moms! My latest Maternity client definitely fit this bill and then some. This family will be welcoming a new little addition this summer and were looking to capture this precious moment in their family's history. Big brother and Dad came along for the ride and were great! Everyone in this family really knew how to strike a pose.

I really enjoyed having you all over in my home studio. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Isn't this one fun?

Gorgeous Girl, and the Baby Was Cute Too!

Happy Mother's Day! Well, almost anyways. I had a chance to photograph a sweet little 3 week old girl a little over a week ago. She was a very awake little girl, and happy too. I loved the way some of the pictures of mom and babe turned out so I thought, "Maybe I should save these and use them for a Mother's Day post." I also included some of just baby for the sneak peek. Thanks so much for sharing your little girl with me! I loved having you over. Enjoy your sneak peek!
