Two, Dos, Deux {Denver Newborn Photographer}

I went from twin two year old boys to twin newborn girls in one week. These beauties and I spent the afternoon together recently. When one would sleep the other would cry. Then they would switch. I guess that's how it is with twins!

The sweetest thing ever is that when we put them together, they calmed down. They needed each other. They know each other. They already love each other.

I guess that's how it is with twins.

The Relaxed Approach {Denver Family Photographer}

It was round two for this family. After their baby brother was born, Mr. "N" and Mr. "W" came for a visit in the studio. It was a hard session for the boys having a brand new brother AND having to sit still for pictures. BORING!

Take two was so fun and so relaxed it was a breeze to get some really great images of these two little guys for their second birthday. Mom and dad even got some great family shots. BONUS! Being outdoors just changes everything. The kids are having fun, Mom and Dad are relaxed, we are all exploring life and the world around us, and their is no posing pressure. It's perfect for this age group.

Thanks Mom and Dad for being so cool and laid back! I love the way we can see your carefree style in all of these images.

Three's Company

Coming from a family of all girls, you could say that I was excited to go to this session. Three sisters. Maybe it's just me, but it sounds lovely. This session was mostly about celebrating the sisters, but I was able to sneak in a few of the whole family and then mom and dad together as well. We were really trying for a summery look even though we are in full on Fall right now. The clothing choices by mom were impeccable and the insistence of bare feet also helped this session feel like it was the end of summer. Because the fall colors are so pretty, I did sneak in a few beautiful trees into the backgrounds here and there. I was all about the color on this day!

Despite canceling and rescheduling due to weather, I hope you think we were able to achieve "The Look" you were wanting. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Secure {Denver Couples Photographer}

After 40 plus years, this couple is still deeply in love. I know because they are my in-laws. We are so blessed that God has given them to us as such a great example. I am also so happy that we have these pictures. I know that the pictures make them happy, but they also make their kids (and kids-in-law) happy, and you should see the way my kids look at them. It feels good to see the people you love love one another. It's warm, it's happy, and it's secure. This session was given to them as a gift from their daughter. It not only is a gift to them, but a gift to all of us.

Check out the happy couple:

Do you have any pictures of yourself and your spouse? I mean besides your wedding pictures. Pictures that show your love for one another. These pictures will not only speak to you, but to your kids, grandkids, and for many generations to come. Don't let feeling insecure about your appearance, fear of awkwardness in front of the camera, time, or whatever type of excuse you have stop you. These images are a true family treasure.

Half Way Through {Denver Baby Photographer}

Sweet little Kaitlyn is half way through her first year. I have had the pleasure of working with her and her family before she was even here. It's so amazing to watch these little people grow and change. I can't believe it's only been three months since I saw her last, and already she can hold things with her hands, and can sit unsupported! She's a strong little girl. I can't wait to see what her whole first year will look like all laid out together in one book.

Each session in the Blessed Year plan focuses on milestones of that age, so this time around we played with toys and sat up in pretty couches and on the floor. We also tried coaxing out that ever developing personality. Kaitlyn is one mild child. Super easy to work with and calm. I don't know if her mommy would say the same, but she was a dream for me ;-) .

I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

I hear sleigh bells when I look at this image:

Happy Fall!

There are those bells again:
