Cleaning Up and Kicking Back

If you didn't know already, I am currently "Out of Office" until January 3rd, 2010. I know that I had kind of mentioned it in a previous post, but I didn't officially let you all know. If you have been trying to contact me, I apologize for my slowness in returning correspondence. I will get back to you! Thanks so much for your patience.

During this time, I envisioned a few things to happen. First, I DESPERATELY need to clean house. By that I mean, I need to go through my hard drive and re-organize and delete. No worries, your proofs are still archived. Also, I am revamping the look of a few things including packaging, gift cards, and a few other surprises. Secondly, I am in dire need of rest. This time of year gets very busy, not just with Been Blessed, but also with my family. The time off is something that I both look forward too and get antsy in. However, I know, it's very necessary for my brain and my children. A friend of mine told me about a new little baby girl joining their family soon, and I couldn't help it, I was giddy from head to toe. Taking time off not only refreshes me, but reminds me how much I love what I do. Lastly, I use this time learning. Learning about the latest and greatest products, new techniques for shooting, and also new software.

The goal with all of this is to come into 2010 all fresh, excited, and ready to capture precious memories, and then turn them into works of art.

I can't wait to see all of you in 2010! Until then, have a very Merry Christmas, and an awesome New Year!

The Last of 2009! {Denver Maternity Photographer}

I can't believe it! This sweet family was my last maternity session of 2009. This year has been chalk full of expecting families. I've loved every second of it! I can't think of a more blessed, exciting, wonderful, miraculous time in a family's life together than waiting for and then the arrival of a new baby. Although my clients thank me for capturing this precious moment for them, I want to say "THANK YOU!" for letting me into your lives during this time. It blesses me more than you know!

Here is that sweet family:

Seriously? Can it get any better than this:

Thank you so much "M" family for sharing the excitement in the anticipation of your newest family member!

2009 Clients!

Hello my lovely 2009 clients! If you have seen this message already on Facebook, then I apologize for the repeat performance here, but for those that may have missed it over there, here it is again...over here.

If you had a session with me this past year, and you would like to give a photo as a gift (and actually have it under the Christmas tree on Christmas day), 1). You are BRILLIANT! Seriously, there is no better gift than photographs. 2). You will need to have your order into me no later than December 11th. 3) Please let me know if you would like to give a gift certificate as a gift (again, what a BRILLIANT and THOUGHTFUL idea!). This is a gift that not only keeps on giving as it is looked upon and treasured for years to come, but also one that cannot be bought on just any store shelf!

As many of you know I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE families, and the blessing that they are to each of us. That includes my own ;-) . Each year I try to take time off during the Christmas season to soak each one of them in. After December 11th, I will not be placing any more orders, and after the 19th, the studio is closed down until the new year. Not only is it a time for me to take in this precious time of year with my loved ones, but it is also a time for my brain to relax and recharge for the new year ahead.

I can hardly wait to see each of you next year, and see how your kids (and maybe your family itself) have grown. There really is something so precious and dear to me about the privilege of doing just that.

I am so thankful that you have allowed me into your lives to capture your special memories! I pray that this Christmas season you are able to continue to fill your hearts with beautiful, life long memories and moments.
