Life. {Denver Maternity Photographer}

This Mommy and Daddy to-be had a clear picture in their minds of what they wanted from their Maternity Session. They were not looking for backdrops, wraps, or props. They wanted to capture their life. The life they have been living since finding out they were going to become parents. They wanted to remember this time and these moments.

Forever.

You know I am all about that.

I LOVED this session from the time Mom-to-be called and told me what she wanted. I had such a fun time acting as a fly on the wall (with a camera) capturing this couple being themselves while they wait for baby.

Take a glimpse into their lives as they wait:

This is by far my favorite series:

 Although the sweetness here, is almost too much:

Thank you guys so much for letting me into your lives and sharing this time with you. I had so much fun! I can't wait to meet baby!

New {Denver Newborn Photographer}

It's official. I have been blessed with the BEST job ever! Take a look at this three week old sweetie! She and her mom and dad were just precious. I LOVE being apart of forever capturing a new bond grow within a family. Being able to see mom and dad handle, snuggle, and love on their new little person is such a special thing to be apart of. Check out this sweet new life I was able to spend the afternoon with:

OK, lips are quickly becoming my new favorite thing. I did sneak in the eyelashes too in this one.

A little nuzzle...

and some new family time...

Thank you guys so much for bringing your little one back to meet me! I can't wait to see her grow! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Contrast {Denver Family Photographer}

From the first email I got from the Mom of this family, she knew what she wanted. She wanted to see her family dressed to the nines. She wasn't sure how I could work with that, she just knew she wanted a very formally dressed family portrait. We tossed around ideas like open fields or urban city, but finally landed on a rustic setting. I LOVE the idea of contrast. Funky and classy, punk and preppy, dressy and rustic, they all work for me. Besides being so different, it adds so much interest to a photo. Needless to say, I was excited for this new location and a new way to look at things. I had a blast with this giggly family! Check them out:

One of my favs! I am LOVING the couple shots these days...Mostly, I am jealous I don't have one with my hubby.

Thanks for such a great time and all the non-stop giggles! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Outdoors Again! {Denver Family Photographer}

This past weekend, I found myself outdoors again. Oh, how I love being outdoors! It is just getting green, and trees are blooming. It is so fun to be free of the confines of the studio, and get a breath of fresh air!

I had a fun extended family session this past weekend. As a surprise for Mother's Day, one of the sons flew in from out of state for his mom! What a blessing for this family to be all together for Mother's Day! What a great time to get everyone together, and you know I LOVE the fact that they have portraits to remember the occasion.

Thanks everyone, and I hope you all enjoy your sneak peek!

I had to get this one in...This little girl was having so much fun twirling for me!

Mammas On Mother's Day {Denver Maternity Photographer}

Recently, I had the chance to photograph two close friends who were due only days apart. Since my own sisters are in the same boat, and I will be photographing them together as well, I thought this is PERFECT! If you have never gotten to share your pregnancy with either a close friend or relative, let me just tell you, it is a blessing. So, we got the two of them into my studio, and had some fun.

Right away we realized, if we were to get any work done at all, we just needed to be silly.

Check out these Charlie's Angels!

We did do some serious stuff too...

I think this might be my favorite of the two together.

Then each lady got to be on their own:

I had such a fun time with all of you in my studio! How wonderful that you got to share this precious time together, as well as sharing the same birth days! Blessings to your sweet new families.

Six Days. {Denver Newborn Photographer}

I had the privilege of meeting Miss K at six days old. Sweetness. That's all I have to say about that. It was so special to see this little one so...little. Watching them get to know one another, love one another, and bond was absolutely precious. Thank you so much for sharing your sweet girl with me! I can't wait to watch her grow this year!

I know I am usually a sucker for eyelashes, but look at these little lips. To. Die. For.

Mommy and Me Fun {Denver Family Photographer}

The Mommy and Me sessions were so fun! So fun, in fact, I will definitely be doing them again next year. So, if you missed out this year, no worries! We will see you next Mother's Day.

It was very special to see the kids get to do their one on ones with their mommies. They knew it was special too. You could tell by how relaxed and happy they would get when it was their turn.

I truly hope that these images will be treasured for a life time! Thanks so much everyone!

P.S. On a side note, I did decide to keep the photo pendant as a permanent item in my products offered. Now you can get your favorite image as a pendant anytime! Check out the link on the side bar that says "Current Products and Pricing" for more information.
